Mass Duplicate a Master CD While Keeping the Session Open

Techware’s disc duplication division now offers the option of duplicating open session master CD-r discs that keep the target copies (duplicated CDs) open. This was a disc duplication request that we thought previously was not an option.

A new customer recently asked us to burn a very short program onto 500 black CD recordable discs. The trick is they wanted to keep the session open on all of the copies so their clients could add additional files to the disc at a later date.

This was thought to be impossible on standard CD-r discs using mass CD/DVD duplication towers or automated duplication systems made by Microboards, Primera or Rimage as the CD copies are always closed. We were able to locate some legacy 10-drive duplication towers that have the option of making exact duplicates while keeping the disc session open. Our customer just tested a handful of copies this morning and they all work perfectly for their needs.

Quick tips on resolving the dreaded ‘Upper Retransfer Sensor Error” on your Everest CD/DVD thermal printer.

Manual advance the re-transfer ribbon
Clean upper sensor with canned air to clear any debris or small ribbon residue
Try installing a new re-transfer ribbon
Replace the sensor

If these four tips don not work for you, then contact a Rimage printer repair company.

As part of the continuous Wellness program at Techwaredist employees are encouraged to go on a hike or walk during their lunch break. A handful of folks have grabbed spring by the horns and are feasting on natures bounty. So far “Flip Stinksy and the Mushroomers” have bagged about five pounds of delicious Morel Mushrooms on their lunch time forays.

The season isn’t over yet so lace em up and head into the woods – nature’s bounty waits for no one.

3rd annual MN ALS Bike Trek

Our Operations manager is again working with the folks from ALS TDI and the following is information about a great upcoming event:

Hello all,

The day is coming for the 3rd annual MN ALS Bike Trek. The bike trek is a fund raising/awareness ride for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. For those of you unknown of these disease you can find out more information here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amyotrophic_lateral_sclerosis Basically researchers haven’t found a reason why people come down with the disease. Only in a small percentage of patients have they been able to link to family history. As of now, after many years and many patients dying form the disease, there is only one drug that may help slow down the disease. Not good news with anyone living with this disease. The average patients life after diagnoses is 3-5 years.

My good friend Judy Stafne, her son has been living with this disease for about eight years now. I have a first hand knowledge on how this disease affects the patient and there family members. Let me tell you, this disease is one of the worst things I can imagine anyone having to go through (patients or family member). I will spare the details, I’m sure most of you can imagine how hard this is for here and her son (who’s younger than me). Please keep in mind there are many family’s having to go through what Judy is going through. This is why I ask you today to help me raise money to help fight this horrible disease.

All proceeds are going to ALS TDI http://www.als.net/, the only nonprofit biotechnology organization dedicated to developing effective treatments for ALS. For the last three years I’ve worked with my friend Justin who’s father passed away a few years back from ALS, along with the people at ALS TDI to help organize the MN ALS Bike Trek. Last year we were able to get the MDA on board to help make this ride even better. All people from ALS TDI and the MDA have been wonderful to work with and passionate about finding a effective treatment. They’re dedicated to making this and all other fund raising events successful.

Did you know that if you have a Primera Bravo SE made after January 2008 that you can use the much larger and more cost effective Primera 53335 ink color cartridge instead of the Primera 53332?

Advantage = much lower cost per print.

If you are not sure when your Bravo SE Disc Duplicator was manufactured simply try the larger BravoPro 53335 color cartridge. If it doesn’t work then simply download the appropriate printer driver and firmware update here.

Each page must have solid keyword rich H1 tags
Write great, original content on each page that deals with the appropriate topic, product or service you are focusing on.
Update your content on a regular basis. Make sure the updates are fresh and valuable for your prospective customers or audience.
Add a short 20-40 second video discussing valuable ideas, demonstrations or lessons on each of these interior pages.
