The plant sustained some damage in the events of March 11, 2011.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.techwaredist.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/cd-dvd.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-379\" title=\"cd-dvd\" src=\"http:\/\/www.techwaredist.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/cd-dvd.jpg\" alt=\"Taiyo Yuden\" width=\"225\" height=\"237\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some CD manufacturing has resumed, and DVD production will follow shortly. While news has been very positive generally, some supply irregularities are anticipated on certain products like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techwaredist.com\">Watershield CD-r and DVD-r<\/a> media as well as white prism thermal CD-r.<\/p>\n<p>While media production lines had been temporarily disabled as the precision facilities were recalibrated and power was restored, Taiyo Yuden \/ JVC is quickly returning to full production.
