We’re looking for people of all ages to join in this extraordinary event – we need YOU, your friends, your co-workers & neighbors! Don’t want to ride? Taking The First Step

We’ve recently introduced a wellness plan at Techware Dist.  It’s called the “10,000 Step Challenge”.

No rocket science involved in this one – the goal is to increase your walking/running/skipping till you reach 10,000 steps in a 24 hour period.   We’ve even got nifty little pedometers to track our progress.

So the next time you stop into Techware Distribution we’d love it if you picked up the challenge with us.  Just grab a free pedometer at the front desk, clip it on and update us via the comments here with your progress.

At Techware Distribution we strive to make sure that all our customers receive their goods from us on time and packaged neatly and securely.  The man that makes sure that your goods are received in such excellent conditions is Nick our Logistics and Warehouse Manager.  Nick has been in this business a long time and can sure stack one heckuva skid.   He is equal parts shipping samurai and stacking engineer – in this picture we captured Nick reflecting on one of his many cardboard shrines.  Word to the wise: Do not challenge Nick to a game of Jenga.

Techware Employees Compete in the 6th Annual US Pond Hockey Tournament

Two of Techware’s employees, Steve Nelson and Mike Stevens, completed in the 6th annual US Pond Hockey Championship against 130 teams this past weekend on Lake Nakomis – Minneapolis, MN.Temperatures the 1st two mornings were -14 degrees, but both Mike and Steve shrugged off the cold weather and put in solid performances.

Steve’s team, 10 Meter Radius, made it all the way to the Semi-finals. They had a 7-1 record and lost to the eventual champions in a very tight game Sunday afternoon. Last year they made it all the way to the Championship game.

Mike’s team, Team Buffet, had a hard fought 3-1 record and missed making the playoff round by just 1 goal.

Here are some bad situations that we have encountered with customers over the years in regards to poor usage of their disc duplicating and printing equipment. Hopefully you can learn from their mistakes.

We are presenting this information in a satirical  format. Please review our correct tips and tricks on care of your CD printer and duplicators.

1. Set up your Rimage Everest 600, III, or II printer in a dust filled location and on the floor. Warehouses and other dusty areas are good places to get dirt and dust build up on the fans, printhead and other electronic sensors, which will lead to premature failures and downtime. Also choose a room that has no environmental control with regards to temperature and humidity levels.
