The T7 supports 9.1GB media, and is backwards compatible with RW, LIMDOW, CCW/WORM, and lower capacity media like 5.2gb, 4.8gb, 4.1gb, 2.6gb, 2.3gb, 1.3gb, 1.2gb down through 600mb. The MaxOptix T7 magneto optical drive is also compatible with SONY WORM (write-once-read-many) media. Compliance and government regulations can be tackled using the T7’s ability to provide non-erasable, non-alterable records.
